To Keep Things Fair

I am posting the real interview as well.

Can you tell which one is really Sarah? Oh wait - a comic skit and possible future VP look and SOUND the same. I'm not talking about a hair style and outfit. I'm talking about what is coming out of their mouths. Both are a joke.

Chris Rock on the Economy and Obama

CHRIS ROCK: I introduced Obama at the Apollo Theater not too long ago. I think Obama would be great. I mean, just look the big thing right now is the economy. And people are going broke. And here: The choice isn't Republican or Democrat. The choice is you got a guy that's worth $150 million with 12 houses against a guy who's worth a million dollars with one house.

LARRY KING: Well --

C. ROCK: The guy with one house really cares about losing a house, because he is homeless. The other guy can lose five houses and still got a bunch of houses. Does this make any sense? Am I the only one that sees this?

L. KING: It's unique way of ...

C. ROCK: I'm just saying, John McCain could lose half his houses.

L. KING: You got a point.

C. ROCK: And sleep well.

L. KING: I never thought of it that way.

ROCK: It is that simple.

Bad Day

When I have a bad day I like to rearrange my bedroom. I feel like if I change the energy around me everything else will get better. I even hung up pictures!! What do you think of my new picture wall? Chris approved it and that's tough!

LA Marathon 5K

Chris and I are running together weekly to get in shape for the LA marathon 5K in March. When we came home I went to put our shoes away and thought they looked so cute together. You can vomit now. :)

Meeting Evan

Oh sweet little Evan. Chris and I drove to Ojai to see Mer & Win and their new bundle of joy. He is the sweetest little thing and even liked being snuggled in the blanket I knitted for him. I can't wait for when I get to spend another day with him!

David Beckham

So I am not even a David Beckham fan. But every female around me is. So when I saw him at Starbucks I was very excited. I was ready to paparazzi him. But he was hiding behind the barista trying to not draw attention (yet he was dressed like a rapper). Chris made me feel guilty for taking his picture so I settled on his car as he drove away. sad. But then I had an "ah ha!" moment. The ladies don't want to see his car. They want to imagine David Beckham getting coffee like this:
I can't wait to see what Chris' says to this. haha

Trojan Time

Football season has begun. This means I get sleepy as soon as I hear crowds and monotone announcers. I dream in cardinal and gold. My husband has been stolen from me by men in tight pants. Hee hee. It is plenty fun when Chris takes me to a game and this one was a doozy. Poor Ohio State and poor annoying screechy girl who sat next to me yelling "Go Buckeyes" for the entire first quarter. For we then slaughtered them and she tried to sneak out only to have Mei Mey yell "BYE BYE". They fled to a crowd cheering their departure. I of course used this event to strategically plan the cutest Trojan outfit possible. Any excuse to shop. We were lucky to be invited by our friends Kristin and Shaun to a sweet tailgate and we had a blast. Here are pics from the big day.

The Laugh Factory

On Friday night I celebrated my good friend Kristin's old lady day. Her birthday! We started it off with drinks at the Cabo Cantina and then moved on to The Laugh Factory. We were hoping for a celebrity guest and they delivered Dane Cook. We even got a picture with him.

The View

This is a nice change. Instead of teleprompters and green screens we have McCain in the raw. Hopefully Obama will be next.

To watch him squirm/defend overturning Roe v. Wade:

Chad's Art Show

Last weekend we headed out in the Smart car to Phoenix, AZ for Chad's art show at the Tempe Center for the Arts. We are so proud of Chad for being selected and had a great time in AZ. We laid out by the pool, went to a crazy mall full of misters and watched a really bad movie (my fault!). It was a great time.

Family Trip

So I know I am playing catch up once again but it has been busy! Over Labor day weekend the whole family traveled to Mill City, OR to relax, laugh and make fun of each other. Thats what we do! I have been using this great website vrbo.com to find rental homes and this cabin was a success! Right on the river, adorable sitting room, hot tub, hammock, etc. We visited everything there was to visit in the area and they actually had a really great pizza place. The boys fished, fell in the river, we had a photographer come out and take family photos, we did a puzzle-off between the boys and the girls and even played a game where we had to clap. haha. There was beer involved. On Sunday my Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Margie and Cousin Cody came out to have dinner with us. It was so nice to see them!
I really think the best part of the trip was watching 8 people try to share one bathroom. Lets just say that our next trip to Mexico in November has a house with 4.5 baths. yeeaaahhh!
